FAQ's,
Fears
& Vision

1. Who made this album?
It was recorded in Nashville, co-produced by me (Wife Support) and Bill Reynolds. Mixed by the legendary Michael Brauer. Yes, that Michael Brauer.

2. What inspired the songs?
My best friend’s divorce, her wild re-entry into dating, and my own complicated relationship with love, gender roles, and the word “forever.”

3. What’s the focus?
Sync. These songs are cinematic, emotionally charged, and built to live in the world of TV, film, trailers, and moments that need more than just a vibe.

4. Will there be shows?
If it makes sense. Like a great opening slot or curated event. But I’m not hitting the dive bar circuit just to say I did. (Been there. Passed out on that couch.)

5. How was this funded?
Entirely self-funded using sync income from a side project with Mayer Hawthorne. Still somehow no pub deal. Go figure.

6. When will the songs be released?
When there’s a good reason... a sync, a push, a partner who sees the vision. I’d rather wait than scream into the algorithm void.

7. Who is Wife Support?
My name is Marlana, which most people get wrong, so now I go by something no one forgets.

8. Didn’t you used to be in a band?
Yes. For 10 years. We did well. If you know, you know. If not, no worries, this project speaks for itself.

9. Would you ever tour again?
Never say never. But unless it’s something special, I’ve done my time in Super 8 purgatory.

10. Can you perform live?
Yes. My stage presence is fire. Like, actually.

11. What do you want to do?
Create original music for TV and film, especially title themes, end credits, and moments with emotional weight.

12. Ultimate goals?
Opening credits Emmy. Best Original Song Oscar. A project that makes you cry and dance.

13. Why haven’t I heard of this yet?
Because the music industry waits for the stamp of approval before it pays attention. That’s fine. We’re not in a rush.

14. Are you doing TikTok and socials?
Lightly. I’ll play the game when I have to, but I’d rather make art than content. (Unless someone wants to sponsor my beta blockers.)

15. Are you a good investment?
Hell yes. I write killer songs, know how to place them, and have receipts to prove it. Get me in the room. I’ll do the rest.
